Customized visits.
From its establishment in Champagne to the creation of the Maison’s unique style, from its international development to the promotion of contemporary art or cuisine, the Taittinger family has always had a pioneering spirit. In that same spirit, it invested in the late 1980s in the heart of the Napa Valley, California, to create the Carneros estate. It produces an American “sparkling” wine using the champagne method, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which is highly appreciated across the Atlantic. More recently, in 2017, Taittinger became the first Champagne House to establish a vineyard in the United Kingdom.

Option 1. 2 family-owned vineyards
From Reims, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Premier and Grand Cru villages of Verzy, Verzenay, Bouzy, and Mailly, located in the Reims mountains. These villages are known for their Pinot Noir grapes, which produce structured and full-bodied champagnes, although all three grape varieties are grown in this region.
Option 2. 1 family-owned vineyard and visit to Hautvillers.
Surrounded by hills covered with vineyards, the picturesque village of Hautvillers is dotted with family-owned champagne houses. The winding streets are lined with typical Champagne houses and grocery stores selling wine and food products, many of which have traditional wrought-iron signs. The Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers Abbey houses the tomb of Dom Pérignon, a pioneer in the champagne-making process in the 18th century.
