Champagne in two days

Two days let you see two sides of Champagne without rushing. Here is one example, to be tailored to your tastes.

  1. Day 1 · Épernay and the Marne Valley

    The Avenue de Champagne and a great house in the morning, lunch, then Hautvillers and a grower in the afternoon.

  2. Day 2 · Côte des Blancs or Reims

    The growers of Cramant and Avize, or the chalk crayères and the cathedral in Reims, half an hour’s drive away.

  3. Arrival and departure

    The Paris CDG transfer is added on the first and last days, at €240 (~$270 USD) by sedan.

Each day is booked by the half day or the full day: two full days by sedan come to twice €480 (~$535 USD).

Frequently asked questions

Can you pick us up at our hotel in Épernay?

Yes, at your hotel, at the Épernay train station or at your address, in Épernay as well as in Hautvillers, Champillon, Aÿ, Dizy, Magenta, Mardeuil or Vinay. The price is the same as from Reims.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. A full day by sedan costs the same for one, two or three people; by van, for up to 7 people.

Are tastings included?

No. Our price covers the chauffeur and the vehicle. Each house charges for its visit and tasting at its own rate.

Do the houses need to be booked ahead?

Yes, nearly all of them, and Saturdays fill up fast. Some are booked in your name, such as Bollinger, and Billecart-Salmon only considers requests made by visitors themselves: we tell you what to book, and we build the day around it.

Can we visit the Perrier-Jouët cellars?

No, the house does not offer cellar tours. It welcomes guests for tastings and for meals at the house, depending on the season, and is closed from November through March. Tell us what appeals to you, and we will suggest what is open on your dates.

Can you pick us up at Paris CDG and take us to Épernay?

Yes: €240 (~$270 USD) by sedan, €350 (~$390 USD) by van, fixed price per vehicle. See our CDG to Épernay transfer page.

Can we cancel or make changes?

Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before. Between 48 and 24 hours, 50% of the price is due. Within 24 hours, the full price of the booking is due. The program itself can change freely within the booked hours and radius. Details are in our terms and conditions.

How do we pay, and can you invoice a company?

Payment is made when booking, by card through a secure payment link, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. We do not accept cash. The invoice can be issued in your company’s name.

Does the chauffeur speak English?

Yes, our chauffeurs speak French and English.
